Leadership Team

Randy Collins


Randy received his Bachelors degree from Furman University and his Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University. He loves to solve problems and has always been fascinated by the opportunity to help businesses improve their efficiency. He feels like one of the luckiest people on the planet because he gets to work hard with great friends during the day and then go home to an incredible family at night. Randy and his wife Allison have been married for 33 years and are blessed with seven incredible children and one slightly psychotic dog.

Scott Calhoon

Business Process Consultant

As a business process consultant, Scott spends most of his time working closely with clients designing and implementing their ERP and CRM software systems with an emphasis on industry best practices and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI). Scott’s overall pursuit is to add value to organizations, blending pure analytics with a form of “Business Artistry” to assist clients in capturing the essence and inherent intellectual property of their respective organizations.

Lisa Conrad

Business Process Consultant

Lisa Conrad started her career in the accounting world and worked as a Controller before moving into consulting. She was intrigued by finding technological means to improve efficiency and gathering data for analysis and by doing so she has furthered her education in the technology field. She has been helping clients for 15 years. She is a big Portland Trailblazer fan and loves to attend games with her son Aaron and also enjoys the great outdoors in the Pacific Northwest.

Rebekah Helton

Business Process Consultant

Rebekah is a business process consultant with over 25 years experience designing, implementing and supporting ERP systems. While she has engaged with a wide variety of organizations, she has developed specialties in Distribution, Manufacturing, Service Management, and Job Costing applications. Professional areas of expertise include business process reviews, system design & implementation, general consulting, and report writing. Her degree in Elementary Education has provided her with a solid background for consulting and training, and her sense of humor has served her well in working in the areas of accounting, operations, and IT. While away from work, Rebekah enjoys travel, reading, running, and following soccer — including enthusiastically supporting the Portland Timbers.

Ron Smith

Regional Manager

Ron grew up in South Alabama where he spent summers working in construction. After receiving his Bachelors degree in Accounting from Troy University, Ron took graduate classes in Management Information Systems from Auburn University at Montgomery. He later moved with his family to Pensacola, Florida where he worked with a CPA firm before starting his own software consulting business.  For the past 30 years, he has specialized in providing solutions to the construction industry.  Ron serves as an elder at Life Church in Gulf Breeze, Florida. He has also served as president of his local homeowners’ association and as a Cub Scout Leader and coach of multiple youth sports teams.  His passion is his family and missions, especially in Africa.

Daniel Collins

CRM Consultant

Daniel attended school at Beloit College in Wisconsin where he received a Bachelors degree in Public Health. He has an analytical mind that loves finding logical solutions to illogical problems to improve business efficiency. He enjoys being able to provide value to clients by providing scalable solutions and effective automation to commonly found issues. Daniel loves being able to spend time with his wife, daughter and German Shepherd when he is not at work. He also enjoys playing any sport from Basketball to Soccer to Rugby. Daniel loves following Atlanta United FC and attends games whenever possible.

Ian A. Cook

Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant, Ian brings 25 years of industry experience, gained while working with manufacturing, service, project-based and financial organizations throughout North America, Europe and Africa. Ian Cook’s extensive background also includes overseeing accounting, auditing, and financial operations working for shipping and manufacturing companies as well as for the English government and Price Waterhouse specializing in bankruptcy administration and corporate recovery insolvency. Ian has been married to Debbie since 2003 and they enjoy watching adult sons thriving in their own lives. Ian likes to relax playing tennis and golf, is actively involved in the music ministry at his church and has a very lively and loveable dog.

Gina Thaggard

Software Consultant

Gina is a native of Ohio and graduated from the University of Toledo in 2005 with a degree in Communication.  She has a strong background in customer service and training, and finds it incredibly rewarding to help people understand how to use their new software.  While Gina moved south to Atlanta to escape the blustery cold winters, she still loves her Ohio sports teams and swears that one day the Cleveland Indians are going to go all the way (but is fairly realistic about the Browns).    

Rick Trupp

Senior Construction Consultant

Rick came to Strategies Group with over 18 years of extensive experience in construction accounting, purchasing, inventory, service/work order and project management. During this time, Rick worked with customers using enterprise accounting programs such as Sage/Timberline, Viewpoint and Dexter + Chaney’s Spectrum. Rick provided services in a variety of roles including customer support, consulting and implementation services, data conversion services, custom report writing and managing consulting teams. Having grown up in a military family, Rick is no stranger to travel, and relocations. His most enjoyable time is with his family – son, daughter, wife, two dogs and bunny.

Pat Chappell

Regional Manager

Since graduating from Clemson University in 1975, Pat has focused on helping architects, engineers, developers and construction companies select and implement estimating, project/equipment/service management and financial accounting solutions.  His intense focus on “client wins” has led to many long-term friendships as well as a lot of fun.  When not working, Pat and his lovely wife Margaret spend time traveling, visiting their 4 children, 5 grandchildren and wastes any spare time trying to lower his (golf) handicap.

Chris Carr

Project Coordinator

Chris received his Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of North Georgia. As a Project Coordinator, Chris spends most of his time working directly with our consultants and clients to ensure we are adding value through our implementations and ongoing support. He has always enjoyed developing and improving upon processes in order to improve efficiency and quality. Chris has been married to his lovely wife since 2016, loves to play soccer, and is an avid Atlanta United FC Fan.

John Pezzino

Account Executive

John has worked with Strategies Group clients for over 15 years, providing business solutions to a wide variety of clients and industries, including Manufacturing, Distribution, and Service Companies.  John attended Auburn University, but maintains his affinity for his hometown Miami Hurricanes, and adopted Atlanta sports teams. Having recently moved back into the Atlanta area. John enjoys playing golf, backyard barbeques with friends, and building things with Legos with his grandson.

Graham Gardner

Director of Marketing

As a project manager on various marketing campaigns, Mr. Gardner stresses the use of collaborative communication to foster a more inclusive conversation. Focusing on relationships and personal connections, Graham advocates for providing clients with meaningful content to create long-term relationships. Graham believes in utilizing digital marketing best practices to establish consistent branding and messaging across all company platforms. Graham previously served as an Executive Member (Treasurer) on the Board of Directors for the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) of Atlanta. Graham and his wife spend their free time watching sports and enjoying nature with their dog Murphy (@Murph_The_Doodle on Instagram!)

Lanette Swistock

Accounting Manager

Lanette holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Georgia State University.  She has experience in retail management, public accounting, and small business accounting.  Her focus on providing clients with the utmost care and customer service came early on during her years of working retail.  She began her professional career working in public accounting.  Through this diverse background she brings to Strategies Group public accounting expertise with a customer-focused approach. In her time away from the office, she loves to volunteer, organize everything she can get her hands on, cook new recipes for family and friends, walk the dogs, travel, and hang with the family.
